Favorite piece of fruit: Greg likes to experiment, growing exciting new flavor combinations. His all-time favorite fruit is a fully mature Snow Angel white peach, with its clean sweet flavor and crisp-yet-juicy texture, which he describes as "absolutely excellent!"

Number of years in business: Greg is a first-generation grower who planted a garden at an early age, and kept planting. He pursued agriculture through a degree in Crop Science at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and was employed in the produce business as an inspector, buyer, seller and quality control specialist. In 1998, Greg planted the first of his experimental varieties of early-maturing stonefruits.

Tesch Family Farms specializes in growing peaches, plums, nectarines and stonefruit hybrids to optimum maturity, gently picking and packing, then quickly shipping for full flavor and eating enjoyment. Greg learned consumer preferences by selling at farmers markets. Now more plantings of great eating varieties are in production for shipping to domestic and export markets.
